What to check before you order

  • Confirm whether you need seamless or welded construction. Seamless costs more but is often mandatory for high-pressure service.
  • For Russian projects, specify the GOST standard explicitly and ask for the EAC certificate before production starts, not after.
  • Ask for the heat number traceability on pressure-bearing fittings — this is standard practice and a red flag if a factory cannot provide it.
  • Flange facing (RF, FF, RTJ) and pressure class must be stated together. Missing facing detail is the most common quoting error.
